Year-on-year, food prices in Tetouan decreased by 2.9%, while non-food items rose by 2.8%, including a notable 10.9% increase in education costs.
Agadir recorded the most significant monthly CPI decline among the three cities, with a decrease of 0.9%. This drop was the result of a 2.2% reduction in food prices, particularly driven by a 10.6% decrease in vegetable prices, a 7.6% decline in fish and seafood prices, and a 4.9% drop in fruit prices. However, when looking at the annual figures, Agadir's CPI remained stable, as a 3.3% decline in food prices was offset by a 2.5% increase in non-food product prices.
