Key Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative

Reporting to the Agency Director, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for greeting and assisting clients and prospects, handling everyday banking transactions, and ensuring compliance with established procedures and security protocols. The main duties include:

  • Welcoming clients both in-person and over the phone at the agency.
  • Ensuring high-quality service delivery to clients and prospects.
  • Addressing customer inquiries and complaints effectively.
  • Guiding clients to the appropriate personnel for specialized assistance.
  • Assisting clients with the use of automated banking services.
  • Supporting clients in utilizing various remote banking services.
  • Conducting regular banking operations, including cash withdrawals and deposits.
  • Processing cheque deposits and standardized letters of exchange.
  • Managing manual currency exchanges and relevant transfers.
  • Handling the agency’s mailing and correspondence duties.
  • Overseeing the stock of customer cards in the absence of the Customer Service Manager.
  • Contributing to the preparation of financial reconciliations and cash management.
  • Completing tasks assigned by management.
  • Adhering to security protocols for cash handling and asset management.
  • Assuming responsibility for the cash register and ensuring proper transaction closure.
  • Familiarizing oneself with applicable procedures and regulations.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
  • Executing controls according to managerial guidelines.

The ideal candidate should meet the following qualifications:
