In a significant operation, the Royal Gendarmerie in the territorial center of Tissalant, located on the outskirts of Marrakech, successfully apprehended three individuals last Wednesday evening, who were part of a criminal gang involved in fraudulent advertising and armed robbery. According to sources from the newspaper, the arrest came after the center's commander received a complaint from two soldiers who fell victim to an individual posting a fake advertisement for a motorcycle sale.
The victims were lured into a secluded area by the suspect, where the remaining members of the gang emerged and assaulted the soldiers with bladed weapons, robbing them of cash and the motorcycle. Upon receiving the complaint, the Royal Gendarmerie mobilized swiftly under the leadership of the center's commander and the supervision of the company commander. Through initial investigations and meticulous tracking of leads, the gendarmerie was able to unravel the case, leading to the arrest of the three suspects and the recovery of the motorcycle that had been stolen from one of the soldier victims.
