According to a security source, a recent police operation led to the arrest of three suspects, including two young men in their twenties and a minor aged 17. These individuals are believed to be part of a gang that specifically targeted mobile phone shops, auto parts stores, motorcycle shops, and establishments selling motor oils.
The initial findings indicated that the investigation, conducted by law enforcement, relied on surveillance camera footage that documented the suspects' involvement in prior thefts in the area. This evidence was crucial in identifying their identities and apprehending them swiftly.
Following directives from the competent public prosecutor's office, the two adult suspects were placed in police custody, while the minor was placed under judicial supervision. This measure is pending the completion of the judicial investigation and their subsequent appearance before the court to face charges related to forming a criminal gang and committing aggravated theft.
