This interception occurred during routine baggage inspections, where a suspicious item was discovered within the luggage of an American traveler.
According to reliable sources, the traveler's bags raised red flags among the monitoring personnel, prompting them to conduct a thorough search. This meticulous examination led to the discovery of a SIG SAUER P365 handgun, along with seven carefully concealed rounds of ammunition hidden among the traveler's personal belongings.
Following the revelation of the weapon and ammunition, the traveler was detained and transferred to the airport security services, where standard procedural measures were promptly initiated.
