Compassion in Action: A Mission to Help Stray Animals in Morocco

For the past 17 years, two devoted friends from Warburg-Herlinghausen have consistently dedicated their vacation time to rescue animals in distress. This year, their mission takes them to Morocco, where they plan to provide medical assistance to 200 stray dogs and care for 60 working donkeys. Silke Müller, a farrier, and Claudia Bretthauer, a veterinarian, have set their sights on the vibrant city of Marrakech, where they aim to perform medical check-ups and sterilizations on the dogs while ensuring that the donkeys receive proper hoof care.

These selfless acts are not new for Müller and Bretthauer, as they have previously engaged in similar animal welfare efforts throughout the year. Their commitment to helping those in need is a testament to their compassion and dedication to improving the lives of animals in dire circumstances.
