Dental Professionals Unite Against Continuous Targeting of Their Profession

Dental Professionals Stand Firm Against Unjust Criticism

The National Federation of Dental Manufacturers and Technicians has voiced its strong disapproval of the ongoing attempts to tarnish the reputation of their profession through unfounded complaints and repeated allegations aimed at undermining the integrity of professionals in this field. This statement comes in light of recent court rulings that have acquitted several practitioners from baseless charges, reinforcing their commitment to combat what they describe as continuous targeting through malicious complaints and unwarranted inspections.

In a press release, the federation urged for a responsible and serious dialogue with relevant authorities and stakeholders to establish clear guidelines for practicing the profession. They emphasized the importance of creating a legal environment that protects workers, ensures fairness, and speeds up the organization and regulation of their profession. This would not only clarify responsibilities but also safeguard citizens' rights while preserving the dignity of the professionals involved.

The Moroccan Association of Dental Manufacturers and Technicians has also reported a series of judicial decisions from various courts across the kingdom, including Salé, Khmissat, and Qalaat Seraghna, which have ruled in favor of professionals in the sector against accusations of practicing medicine illegally, impersonation, and fraud.

In this context, the federation commended these recent judicial rulings, which underscore the independence of the Moroccan judiciary and its respect for established laws and facts. They hope these decisions will put an end to attempts to defame the profession through malicious complaints designed to weaken professionals and deter them from fulfilling their roles and defending their rights and achievements.

Moreover, they reiterated the crucial role that dental professionals have played in Morocco since its independence, expressing their dismay at the ongoing harassment, prosecutions, and unwarranted inspections that lack any legal basis, which professionals in the sector continue to face in various regions of Morocco.
