Agreement for Digital Transformation in Morocco
On July 17, 2026, a significant agreement was signed at the headquarters of the Public Prosecution in Rabat, marking a pivotal move towards the digitalization of notifications related to notaries in Morocco. This agreement, established between the Public Prosecution and the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion (CDG), aims to implement the provisions of Article 33 of Law No. 32.09, which governs the notarial profession in the country.
The signing ceremony was attended by Hicham Blawi, the Attorney General at the Court of Cassation and the head of the Public Prosecution, alongside Khalid Safir, the General Director of the CDG. This collaboration seeks to create a framework for cooperation and coordination between the two institutions, specifically focusing on the exchange of digital data.
This protocol is designed to streamline the process of exchanging notifications and digital data issued by the CDG, particularly concerning non-compliance cases identified during the withdrawal operations carried out by notaries. This initiative is in line with the existing legal and regulatory requirements.
The announcement underscores the mutual commitment of both institutions to leverage modern digital tools and support the ongoing digital transformation efforts. It aims to enhance operational efficiency, facilitate data exchange, and improve collaborative effectiveness in areas of mutual interest.
