Discover Airlines Launches New Direct Route from Frankfurt to Agadir

New Flight Route from Frankfurt to Agadir: What to Expect

Discover Airlines, a subsidiary of Lufthansa, has officially announced an exciting new direct flight route connecting Frankfurt, Germany, to Agadir, Morocco, starting October 2026. Agadir, a picturesque port city located along the Atlantic coast, is home to approximately 500,000 residents and is situated about 250 kilometers south of Marrakesh. This new service aims to enhance travel options for those looking to explore the beautiful landscapes and rich culture of Morocco.

The flights will be available twice a week, specifically on Mondays and Fridays, making it a convenient option for both leisure and business travelers. Reservations can be made for travel between late October 2026 and the end of March 2027, allowing passengers to enjoy the mild winter weather of Agadir. The estimated flight time is around four hours, with morning departures from Frankfurt and evening returns, providing a comfortable schedule for visitors.

According to Discover Airlines, Agadir boasts a refreshing climate and long sandy beaches along the Atlantic Ocean, offering a variety of recreational activities for tourists. Additionally, the city serves as an ideal starting point for excursions to the Souss-Massa National Park or the majestic foothills of the Atlas Mountains, presenting numerous possibilities for outdoor adventures and cultural experiences.

In further developments, Frankfurt Airport's Terminal 3 is set to open in 2026, which will bring significant changes for travelers. As part of this transition, Terminal 2 will undergo gradual renovations, resulting in airlines currently operating from T2, such as British Airways, relocating to the new T3. Condor is also anticipated to join the ranks of airlines at the new terminal, signifying a shift in operations, while Lufthansa will continue its services in Terminal 1.
