Embrace the Serenity of Oasis Lodges

Located just 15 minutes away from the vibrant Jemaa El Fna square, Oasis Lodges presents a collection of 25 new lodges crafted by the renowned Pillot Studio, epitomizing a simple yet authentic luxury experience. Unlike the bustling medina, Oasis Lodges has cultivated a serene atmosphere since its inception, rooted in tranquility and nature. This family-run retreat, born from the vision of André, a passionate builder enchanted by Marrakech, now embarks on an exciting new chapter. With the addition of these new lodges, the peaceful sanctuary has expanded to cover five hectares, boosting its total capacity to 48 lodges, all masterfully designed by Pillot Studio.

Nature-Inspired Heritage and Innovative Design

The essence of Oasis Lodges, preserved by Véronique and Eric, the founder's children, remains steadfast: to provide a local paradise where tranquility and lush gardens take precedence. A dedicated team of six gardeners diligently maintains a rich flora comprising 120 tree varieties and 350 olive trees, with the latest harvest yielding nearly 2,000 liters of oil. At the heart of this verdant landscape lies a 400 m² swimming pool featuring a natural waterfall, inviting guests to unwind and find solitude, even during peak occupancy. The original vision, established in the early 2000s, continues to thrive, combining the comforts of independent hospitality with the intimacy of a home, enhanced by undeniable charm.

The newly introduced lodges are designed as private villas with gardens, subtly inspired by African motifs. Ranging from a premium suite of 90 m² for couples to family lodges spanning 165 to 250 m² with two or three bedrooms, each space offers an enveloping ambiance. Elegant furnishings made from smoked eucalyptus wood, shutters, ethnic fabric patterns, and headboards reminiscent of leather-strapped travel trunks create a sophisticated atmosphere that is suitable for all seasons. Emmanuel Pillot, an interior architect based in Marrakech for over 25 years, shares his approach that respects the local identity. He explains, "I aimed to translate the mineral aspect of the original oasis upon which Marrakech was built, focusing particularly on textures: plastered walls, glazed pieces, zelliges, wallpapers, and woven materials that evoke the rabanes and doums..." The decor, envisioned by Séverine Pillot, steers clear of opulent and clichéd oriental aesthetics, leaning instead towards timeless elegance.

To enhance the overall experience, Oasis Lodges has introduced new living spaces including a fitness room, a yoga pavilion, a bar, and two lounges, one of which features a tranquil library. The restaurant, La Table des Oliviers, has also been expanded, aiming to provide spaces that evolve throughout the day and are accessible to external guests. In the kitchen, Chef Abdeljalil El Maalouli showcases Mediterranean flavors, offering seasonal Moroccan classics like tagines and tanjia marrakchi alongside Spanish and Italian specialties such as gallega-style octopus salad and Ifrane morel linguine. All produce is sourced from local farmers, fishermen, and breeders, and soon, an 800 m² vegetable garden will supply the kitchens directly. From breakfast to room service, everything is homemade, from breads to pastries, embodying a generous and discerning hospitality.

Staying true to its philosophy, Oasis Lodges actively pursues sustainable tourism initiatives. Beyond promoting a locavore cuisine, the establishment has implemented a rigorous waste sorting system for four years, recovering 26 tons of waste in 2025, and it heats 100% of its sanitary water using thermal solar panels. The next step involves installing 300 m² of photovoltaic panels to cover 20% of its electricity needs. The hotel also encourages eco-friendly mobility, offering tailored hiking, running routes, and cycling trips to the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, steering clear of motorized excursions. For golf enthusiasts, Oasis Lodges serves as an ideal starting point, with half a dozen courses nearby. A dedicated concierge service facilitates the booking of green fees, and tailored services such as lunch boxes or focused yoga sessions are available.
