EasyJet Announces Nine New Routes from France Including Cairo, Malaga, and Agadir

In an exciting development for travelers, EasyJet, the British low-cost airline, has unveiled plans to launch nine new routes from various cities in France, expanding its reach to several popular Mediterranean destinations. As the summer holiday season approaches, this announcement is particularly timely for those looking ahead to winter travel options. The new routes will connect major French cities to vibrant locations in Egypt, Morocco, and the Canary Islands, enhancing the airline's offerings both domestically and across Europe.

Starting September 2, 2026, EasyJet will begin flights to Cairo from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, with an additional service from Nice commencing on October 27, 2026. Each route will feature two flights per week, with ticket prices starting at €85 from Paris and €75 from Nice, making it an attractive option for those eager to explore the rich history and culture of Egypt.

Moreover, the airline is strengthening its connections to Morocco by introducing a new service from Nantes to Essaouira, effective October 27, 2026. Additionally, travelers from Bordeaux will have the chance to fly to Agadir, further enhancing EasyJet's presence in North Africa. These new routes are set to cater to the increasing demand for travel to these sun-soaked destinations.

In addition to its Mediterranean expansions, EasyJet is also focusing on enhancing its European network. Beginning in late October, passengers can expect new connections to Malaga and Gran Canaria from Bordeaux, along with a new Nantes-Brussels-Zaventem route. Furthermore, two weekly flights will be added from Paris to Southampton, England, and a new route will connect Lyon to Nice, ensuring comprehensive coverage of both domestic and international travel options.

This strategic expansion illustrates EasyJet's commitment to providing more travel opportunities for its customers, encouraging them to explore new horizons as they plan their winter getaways. The airline's new routes not only promise convenience but also affordable travel, aligning with EasyJet’s vision of making air travel accessible to everyone.
