On August 8, 2026, the first team of the Egyptian football club, Al-Masry, arrived in Morocco, specifically in the city of Marrakech, to commence an intensive training camp as part of their preparations for the upcoming football season. The team landed at Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca after a flight lasting nearly five hours before taking a bus ride to Marrakech, which is approximately 245 km away from Casablanca. The departure from Cairo took place on Saturday afternoon, marking the start of their closed training sessions intended to sharpen their skills and coordination ahead of the new season.

During their stay in Morocco, the team will remain in the training camp until August 16, 2026, where they will engage in crucial preparations to ensure they are competitive for the upcoming matches. The squad comprises 46 members, including 28 players along with the coaching staff, led by coach Emad Nasr and football director Saif Dawood. As part of this training regimen, Al-Masry is set to play three friendly matches in Marrakech, which will conclude the fourth phase of their preparation that began on July 7, 2026.

The club's first match in the new season is scheduled against Smouha SC at the New Suez Stadium on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 8 PM. This early challenge will be a significant test for the team as they look to establish themselves in the league and garner momentum as the season progresses.
