Celebration of Engineering Excellence at EHTP
The Hassania School of Public Works (EHTP) proudly hosted the graduation ceremony for its 52nd class for the academic year 2025-2026 on Friday. The event, attended by the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Ryad Mezzour, celebrated the achievement of 236 newly graduated engineers who are poised to contribute to the ambitious developmental projects within the Kingdom of Morocco.
This remarkable cohort consists of 119 men and 117 women, reflecting a near-gender parity that highlights the increasing representation of women in engineering fields. Since its inception, EHTP has successfully trained nearly 8,000 engineers across various specialties, solidifying its reputation as a leading institution for technical skill development in Morocco.
Commitment to National Development
During the ceremony, Minister Ryad Mezzour commended the graduates for their dedication, perseverance, and hard work, emphasizing that their success is a testament to their commitment. He reiterated that engineers serve as a vital asset to national competitiveness and will play a crucial role in supporting the strategic projects initiated by the Kingdom, particularly in a time marked by rapid industrial, technological, and infrastructural transformations.
Jaouad Boutahar, the director of EHTP, underscored the institution's historical role in training leaders who contribute to the nation's development. For over fifty years, the school’s alumni have been instrumental in the design, implementation, and management of major national infrastructures, including roads, highways, dams, railways, ports, airports, and essential networks for water, energy, and telecommunications. More recently, their expertise has expanded to encompass digital and digital infrastructures.
According to Mr. Boutahar, this new generation of engineers continues the tradition of excellence and innovation that EHTP is known for. Equipped with recognized technical skills and a strong sense of commitment, they are set to tackle the challenges of tomorrow and actively contribute to Morocco's ongoing economic and social development.
