El Al Announces New Flights to Marrakech

El Al, Israel's flagship airline, is set to resume its flights to Marrakech starting November 16, 2026. The airline will operate these flights through its subsidiary, Sun D’Or, and will offer two weekly flights for travelers eager to explore the vibrant culture and beauty of Morocco. Fares for round trips are expected to start at approximately $599, making it an attractive option for those looking to travel between Tel Aviv and Marrakech.

This announcement marks a significant development in the aviation landscape between Israel and Morocco, as El Al joins Arkia and Israir, both of which have already restarted their operations on this route. Arkia resumed flights on August 24, while Israir began its operations on September 1, maintaining a weekly service until the end of October. The revival of these flights comes a little over three years after services were suspended due to the events surrounding October 7, 2023, which impacted travel between the two nations.

The renewed flight services signify a strengthening of ties and a boost to tourism between Israel and Morocco, allowing travelers from both countries to enjoy the unique experiences that each destination has to offer. As travel resumes, it is expected that the influx of visitors will enhance cultural exchange and economic collaboration between these two nations.
