The Sustainable Innovation Fest (SIF) 2026 concluded in Casablanca after an inspiring four-day event centered around sustainable innovation and social entrepreneurship. The Enactus team from the Mohammadia School of Engineering (EMI) emerged victorious, winning the national competition and earning the opportunity to represent Morocco at the forthcoming Enactus World Cup set to take place in São Paulo, Brazil.

Held from July 6 to 9, the SIF 2026 brought together nearly 1,500 young entrepreneurs, students, researchers, industry experts, and institutional partners to discuss pressing economic, social, and environmental challenges. This year's highlight was the final round of the Enactus Morocco national competition, where Enactus EMI was selected from a pool of 136 teams from various higher education institutions across the kingdom.

The event not only recognized the excellence of Enactus EMI but also featured Enactus FS Ben M'Sick as the national runner-up, followed by Enactus ENSA Tanger and Enactus FSJES Marrakech taking third and fourth places, respectively. The finalists presented their projects to a distinguished panel of entrepreneurs, decision-makers, and experts, showcasing their initiatives through a rigorous process that included training, mentorship, prototyping, and real-world deployment.

Promoting Sustainable Practices and Innovation

The festival also hosted the finals of the Enactus Early Stage Competition, which highlighted young entrepreneurial projects. Enactus ENCG Settat won this category, earning the chance to represent Morocco in the international Early Stage competition held in conjunction with the Enactus World Cup.

Beyond competitions, SIF 2026 served as a platform for promoting responsible innovation programs developed by Enactus Morocco. One of the significant highlights was the Green Forward Conference, which focused on challenges related to the green transition, sustainable economies, and responsible entrepreneurship. This conference was part of the Green Forward program, implemented by SPARK with the support of the European Union, bringing together experts, businesses, and institutions to discuss sustainable growth strategies.

Additionally, the Morocco Water Race, another key event, recognized innovative initiatives aimed at water management, resource preservation, resilient agriculture, and environmental solutions.
