Enhancing Summer Programming: Sharjah Radio Launches 'Sa’at Masa'

Sharjah Radio Unveils Exciting Summer Programming with 'Sa’at Masa'

Sharjah Radio is stepping up its summer programming by introducing a fresh cycle that includes both new shows and enhancements to existing ones, specifically designed to engage listeners during the summer season. This initiative aims to cater to the diverse interests of family members by offering a variety of content that spans social, educational, religious, and interactive themes. One of the standout additions to this summer lineup is the new social program titled "Sa’at Masa." This program is set to provide a daily platform for discussions surrounding significant societal issues, highlighting various perspectives and life experiences. By fostering a culture of dialogue, "Sa’at Masa" encourages listeners to understand differing viewpoints and explore solutions to common challenges. The program promises to be interactive, featuring phone interviews with specialists who will provide practical advice and insights, enabling listeners to navigate their daily lives more effectively.

Presented by Sheikha Bin Khamis and Jamal Al-Sumaiti, "Sa’at Masa" will air from Monday to Thursday, between 4:30 and 5:25 PM, making it an ideal time for listeners to tune in and engage with the topics discussed.

Expanding Religious Programming and Diverse Content

In addition to new shows, Sharjah Radio has expanded its religious programming by increasing the frequency of its "Verses and Recitations" segment to twice a week. This enhancement is aimed at providing a larger audience the opportunity to engage with Quranic content, especially during the long summer break when many seek to improve their recitation skills. The program invites participants to call in and recite verses from the Holy Quran, with specialists providing constructive feedback on their recitation and intonation. This initiative not only enhances learning but also strengthens the community's connection to the Quran, as it encourages reflection on its teachings and proper application in daily life. The program, hosted by Sheikh Diaa Al-Suwaidan, will be available on Fridays and Saturdays from 4:30 to 5:25 PM.

Sharjah Radio’s programming is characterized by its remarkable diversity, offering a wide range of shows that cater to various interests. From social programs like "She is a Nation" to educational segments such as "My Country is Safe," as well as legal discussions in "The Case and What It Entails," the station has something for everyone. Furthermore, listeners can enjoy heritage programs like "Echoes of Yesterday," culinary shows such as "Popular Dishes," and health-related content through "Your Medical Guide." Amal Abdul Rahman Al Owais, the Director of Sharjah Radio, highlighted that this summer programming cycle aligns with the station's commitment to providing innovative media content that balances entertainment and educational value. This strategic approach not only meets the evolving demands of listeners but also reinforces the station's role as a vital community platform that fosters education and awareness for families during the summer months.
