Empowering Vulnerable Groups Through Human Rights Advocacy
Ennakhil is an intermediary association located in Charaf Opération El Manar 3, 40100 Marrakech. Established in 1997 in the Marrakech-Safi region, the organization is dedicated to promoting human rights equality within Moroccan laws and public policies. It achieves this mission by engaging various stakeholders and advocating for change. Ennakhil envisions itself as a sustainable, viable entity recognized as a leading NGO in the pursuit of human rights equality both in Morocco and on an international scale.
The association focuses on two strategic areas: combatting violence and discrimination against vulnerable groups and fostering participatory democracy to promote public policies rooted in equality. Ennakhil has significant experience in supporting women who have experienced violence, advancing the economic rights of women and youth, and encouraging local actors to engage in participatory democracy.
Initiatives to Enhance Employability and Income Generation
In line with its mission, Ennakhil has announced a call for consultation to develop a comprehensive kit or guide aimed at enhancing employability and creating income-generating activities for women and young girls who benefit from the training and qualification center of the Ennakhil solidarity restaurant. This initiative is crucial in empowering these individuals to gain essential skills and access job opportunities, thereby improving their socio-economic status.
Moreover, the association is also seeking to produce an engaging and educational animated video, which will be based on the content of the aforementioned kit/guide. This video aims to clarify and make accessible the concepts of employability and income-generating activities, ensuring that beneficiaries can fully grasp and utilize the information provided. By employing visual learning tools, Ennakhil hopes to enhance understanding and ownership of these vital concepts among its beneficiaries.
