Ennismore's Strategic Expansion into Marrakech
Ennismore, in collaboration with YAMED, has officially announced the opening of the Delano Marrakech Hotel & Residences, a significant milestone that marks the brand's inaugural venture into Africa and its first foray into Morocco. This exciting project positions Marrakech alongside other renowned locations such as Miami and Dubai, showcasing Delano's commitment to global expansion.
The development will feature an impressive array of accommodations, including 130 luxurious guestrooms, suites, and private villas, along with approximately 80 branded residences. Notably, these residences will represent the first Delano offerings outside the United States, comprising four to six-bedroom villas equipped with private pools. The sales for these residences are anticipated to launch in late 2026, with the hotel set to welcome guests in 2030.
Unmatched Luxury and Cultural Integration
Strategically situated within a resort enclave, Delano Marrakech will boast proximity to the Medina of Marrakech, the stunning Jardin Majorelle, and breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains. Guests will also enjoy easy access to premier golf courses such as Royal Golf Marrakech and Amelkis Golf Club. The property is designed to provide a comprehensive luxury experience, featuring a main pool, a state-of-the-art spa, fitness facilities, racket courts, and versatile meeting and event spaces. The architectural design will be spearheaded by Elastic Architects, working in tandem with Ennismore and YAMED's dedicated team.
Ennismore plans to enhance the culinary experience through its Paris Society platform, which will introduce exciting dining options including Café Delano and Rose Bar, alongside two new brands making their debut in Marrakech. The wellness experience will be anchored by The Source by Delano, complemented by retail offerings such as Nothing Finer. Gaurav Bhushan, CEO of Ennismore, articulated the vision behind the Delano brand, emphasizing the importance of creating spaces that resonate with cultural heritage while fostering community and connection. He noted that Marrakech, with its vibrant history and artistic spirit, serves as an ideal backdrop for bringing Delano's unique resort experience to life.
