Italy and Morocco Collaborate to Strengthen Economic and Legal Frameworks

The newly launched platform aims to create a stable environment for exchange across various strategic axes, notably focusing on regular and qualified mobility between the two shores of the Mediterranean and vocational training in the countries of origin. Kaoutar Badrane, the president of the forum and the Agami Association for Intercultural Legal Dialogue, emphasized during the inauguration ceremony that the initiative is themed "Skills, a Bridge Between Italy and Morocco." This innovative forum seeks to simplify administrative procedures, facilitate integration into the labor market, and foster economic inclusion in Italy, while also contributing to legal and institutional cooperation aimed at enhancing the security of bilateral economic relations.

During the event, Sonia Sommacal, the deputy prosecutor of the Venice Prosecutor's Office, highlighted the establishment of a "structured and concrete" program designed to bolster bilateral cooperation not only in legal and economic spheres but also across various other sectors. She expressed her belief that the caliber of Moroccan and Italian participants and promoters will ensure the success of this human-centered initiative, which aims to facilitate the cultural and socio-professional integration of individuals who will receive training in their home countries before embarking on their professional journeys in Italy.

Strengthening Institutional Cooperation between Nations

Additionally, Hasnae Halim, the Consul General of the Kingdom of Morocco in Verona, underscored that the launch of this permanent forum reflects the shared commitment of both nations to forge strong bridges of institutional cooperation in legal and economic domains. She noted that the historical ties binding the countries on either side of the Mediterranean have been reinforced and revitalized through creative and flexible working mechanisms based on transparency and mutual interest. This collaborative spirit was echoed by Italian Senator Bartolomeo Amidei, who celebrated the initiative as a means to solidify legal and economic collaboration between the two countries, united in their desire to develop their partnership within a framework of mutual respect.

The forum's launch ceremony was attended by numerous jurists from both nations, along with notable Moroccan and Italian figures from various fields, marking a significant step towards enhanced bilateral relations.
