The FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup is set to take place from October 17 to November 7, 2026, marking its tenth edition. Since 2025, this tournament has been held annually. The matches will be hosted in Morocco, with all games scheduled to take place in the capital city, Rabat. The group stage games, along with the round of 16, quarterfinals, and semifinals, will occur at the Women's Football Complex. The third-place match and the final will be held at the Prince Moulay El Hassan Stadium.
A total of 24 teams representing six continental confederations will be competing in the tournament. These teams include Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, Germany, France, Ghana, Japan, Canada, Kenya, Morocco, Mexico, New Zealand, Nigeria, North Korea, Norway, Poland, Puerto Rico, Zambia, Samoa, Spain, the USA, Venezuela, and China. The teams are divided into six groups of four.
The German U-17 women secured their place in the World Cup by reaching the semifinals of the European Championship held in Northern Ireland in May 2026, thereby earning their spot in the tournament. They capped off their European journey by winning the championship title.
Germany will compete in Group A, facing Argentina, host nation Morocco, and New Zealand. Their matches will begin on October 17 against Argentina, followed by a match against Morocco three days later, and concluding the group stage against New Zealand on October 23.
