This role involves maintaining accurate accounting records, tracking budgets, payments, and banking operations, as well as ensuring financial compliance and contributing to audits. Candidates are required to have at least a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, management, or a related area, along with a minimum of five years of experience in accounting and financial management, particularly in complex project environments. Familiarity with donor procedures, especially those of the European Union, is crucial, as is proficiency in Excel and accounting tools. The ideal candidate should possess attention to detail, integrity, and a collaborative spirit.
The Technical and Financial Assistant will support the project team in organizing activities and managing administrative and financial follow-ups. Key tasks will include assisting in the preparation and organization of project activities, ensuring administrative and logistical support, and aiding partner organizations while contributing to result tracking. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in management, finance, accounting, administration, or project management is required, alongside at least three years of experience in technical, administrative, and financial support roles. Experience in managing projects with multiple partners is advantageous, and candidates should be proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office, and possess strong language skills in French and Arabic, along with a good command of English. The ideal candidate will display strong organizational skills, rigor, responsiveness, and an awareness of gender and inclusion issues.
