New Direct Flights from Hahn to Rabat Set to Begin
Starting April 1, 2026, travelers will have the opportunity to take advantage of a new direct flight route connecting Hahn Airport in Germany to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. This new service, announced by Ryanair in December 2025, is part of the airline's summer flight program and will operate with two flights per week. The announcement was made public through a statement from TRIWO Hahn Airport, highlighting the growing importance of this route in enhancing connectivity between the two regions.
This new air link is being introduced alongside a broader expansion of the summer flight program at Hahn Airport, which will take effect on March 29, 2026. The program includes the addition of three new destinations, with Rabat being one of the highlights. Other new destinations from Hahn will include Timișoara in Romania and Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Overall, the summer schedule will feature a total of 38 destinations with up to 130 weekly flights, catering to the needs of travelers looking for convenient options for both leisure and business travel.
In terms of passenger volume, Hahn Airport has shown a significant increase, with approximately 2.2 million passengers utilizing its facilities in 2025, marking an 18% rise from the previous year. This airport, located in Rhineland-Palatinate, operates around the clock and serves as a vital hub for passenger and cargo transport. The introduction of the Hahn-Rabat route is expected to further enhance the airport's profile as a key player in the aviation sector.
