Forecast for Heavy Snowfall Across Several Regions
The General Directorate of Meteorology has announced that significant snowfall is anticipated starting from elevations of 1,400 meters, beginning Tuesday and continuing through Wednesday in various regions of the kingdom. According to an orange alert issued by the Directorate, snowfall between 20 to 40 cm is expected in the provinces of Azilal, Beni Mellal, Ifrane, Midelt, and Boulemane. Additionally, regions including Al Haouz, Taza, Chefchaouen, Ouarzazate, Tinghir, Figuig, Khenifra, Sefrou, Al Hoceima, and Jerada are predicted to receive between 10 to 20 cm of snow. These conditions are expected to persist from 6 AM on Tuesday until 11 PM on Wednesday.
