Join the Celebration of Tradition and Culture in Olhão
The Municipality and Parish Council of Olhão are thrilled to announce the return of the beloved Popular Saints' festivities, which will take place from June 20th to 27th. This annual celebration invites residents and visitors alike to partake in a week filled with vibrant entertainment, traditional music, and a strong sense of community. Kicking off the festivities on June 20th at the Praceta de Agadir, attendees can look forward to captivating performances from renowned artists such as Cristiano Martins, along with the Olhão Parish Popular March, creating an enchanting atmosphere from 7:00 PM to midnight.
On June 23rd, the excitement continues at Jardim Pescador Olhanense, where the highly anticipated Popular Marches Parade will unfold. This colorful evening will feature various invited groups showcasing their talents, ensuring an unforgettable experience brimming with joy and cultural richness. The musical group Gerações will also take the stage that night, starting at 8:00 PM, promising to elevate the festive spirit further.
The grand finale of the festivities will occur on June 27th, once again at Praceta de Agadir, where the local community can enjoy performances by Luís Correia and the Olhão Parish Popular March, continuing the celebration from 7:00 PM to midnight. With free entry to all events, this is a fantastic opportunity for everyone to come together and honor the Popular Saints in a delightful atmosphere filled with camaraderie and cultural appreciation.
