Mariela's Passion for Travel and Storytelling
The upcoming session, titled 'Morocco: A Journey Through the Soul of Its Cities,' marks Sánchez's second participation in the 'In Search of Your Adventure' series. She previously captivated audiences in November 2024 with her narratives from Ethiopia. This travel series, organized by the Culture department, allows featured guests to share their personal experiences, passions, and adventures accompanied by stunning visuals.
According to her personal blog 'Mariela around the world,' Sánchez's love for travel began in her childhood as she traversed Europe in a camper van with her parents. After earning her degree in Law, she spent six months as an intern at a European Union institution in Brussels and furthered her career as a communication consultant for the World Bank in Washington, D.C. Following her tenure in the U.S., Sánchez moved to Geneva, Switzerland, where she worked for the United Nations for two years before relocating to South America, where she lived in Tarija, Bolivia.
