Moroccan Business Opportunities Presented to Galician Companies
On March 23, 2026, Moroccan business opportunities will be highlighted to enterprises in the Galician region of Spain during an economic day dedicated to the Kingdom at Santiago de Compostela, as reported by the Galician Institute for Economic Promotion (Igape). This event, titled "Morocco Country Day," aims to connect Galician businesses with the economic and commercial realities of Morocco, which is recognized as a strategic market and a privileged gateway to African markets.
This initiative is part of the "Country Days" program launched by Igape to support the internationalization of companies in this northwestern region of Spain. The program will feature several sessions focusing on various aspects of doing business in Morocco and Africa, including insights from companies already operating in these markets, as well as discussions on upcoming business initiatives planned for the African continent.
Notable attendees will include various officials and business leaders actively engaged in the Moroccan and African markets, such as David Garay, the director of the Igape office in Morocco. In addition to the presentations, participating companies will have the opportunity to hold individual meetings with the entrepreneurial branch of the Xunta de Galicia in Morocco, where they can showcase their products and services and learn about the opportunities available in the Moroccan market.
