Experience the Adventure Through Stunning Photography
The Lycée de Garçons d’Esch recently hosted an inspiring photo exhibition that captures the essence of an adventurous journey through Morocco, taken by two teams during this year's Twing Raid. Covering an impressive distance of 6,800 kilometers, this exhibition showcases the remarkable experiences of the participants, highlighting the dusty trails and breathtaking landscapes they encountered along the way. The Renault Twingos served as the dependable vehicles for this expedition, navigating through challenging terrains while documenting every moment through the lens.
The exhibition, currently on display at Studio 71 of the Lycée de Garçons d’Esch, features photographs taken by Diego Militello, Gianni Mersch, Alain Berg, and the exhibition's curator, Christian Schaack. Among the 6,800 kilometers traveled, approximately 400 kilometers were spent traversing the rugged Moroccan pathways. The images displayed not only capture the stunning vistas and cultural encounters but also reveal the obstacles and unexpected challenges faced by the teams during their journey.
The official opening of the exhibition will take place on April 21 at 6:30 PM in Studio 71, located at 71, rue du Fossé in Esch/Alzette. It will remain open to the public until May 24, inviting all art and travel enthusiasts to immerse themselves in the vivid storytelling conveyed through these photographs. This initiative received journalistic coverage from Tageblatt, which accompanied the expedition over a two-week period.
