Exploring Morocco's Motorcycle Trails and Honda's New Riding School

Adventurous Journey Through Morocco

During the recent Holy Week holiday, we embarked on an exhilarating organized motorcycle trip through Morocco, a dream route for many trail bike enthusiasts. This journey offered an incredible opportunity to explore the diverse landscapes and rich culture of Morocco while riding through some of the most stunning terrains imaginable. From the breathtaking mountain passes to the expansive deserts, every moment was filled with adventure and excitement, making it an unforgettable experience that we are eager to share with fellow motorcycle lovers.

Honda's New Riding School in Madrid

In addition to our Moroccan adventure, we also had the chance to participate in a course at Honda's newly opened riding school in Madrid, which complements their existing facility in Barcelona. Our experience at the school was overwhelmingly positive, providing us with valuable insights and skills that enhanced our riding capabilities. The school is designed to cater to motorcyclists of all levels, ensuring that everyone can benefit from professional guidance in a safe environment. This initiative by Honda is a significant step towards promoting safe riding practices and nurturing a community of responsible motorcyclists.

Furthermore, we delved into the ongoing debate among riders regarding motorcycle jackets—specifically, the choice between leather and textile options. Each material comes with its own set of advantages and disadvantages, and we shared our personal preferences based on comfort, protection, and versatility. This discussion is essential for anyone looking to invest in the right gear for their riding needs.

Our podcast was made possible with the collaboration of Ducati, who recently unveiled their new DesertX 2026 model. This motorcycle has undergone a remarkable transformation, featuring the new V2 890 cc engine, which is the lightest twin-cylinder engine in the brand's history, delivering an impressive 110 horsepower with robust torque from low RPMs. The DesertX is equipped with a new monocoque aluminum chassis that enhances agility while reducing weight to just 209 kg. It retains its iconic 21-inch front wheel and long-travel KYB suspensions, making it well-suited for demanding off-road use. The ergonomics have been refined to provide a lower center of gravity and a slimmer 18-liter fuel tank, facilitating standing riding on technical terrain. Additionally, it features a 5-inch TFT screen with new display modes and the Quick Shift 2.0 system, establishing itself as one of the most capable and technologically advanced trail bikes available today. For more information on this exciting model, please visit the official Ducati website.
