Outstanding Performance in the June 2026 Baccalaureate Examinations

The Regional Academy for Education and Training of the Fes-Meknes region has officially announced the results of the regular session of the National Unified Examination for obtaining the Baccalaureate diploma for the June 2026 session. This year's examination saw a total of 34,657 candidates successfully pass out of 70,150 who participated across various provinces in the region. The academy reported that among the candidates, 55,345 were students who took part in the examination, with a remarkable success rate of 32,053 students, including 5,531 from private education institutions. Notably, female candidates represented 62.94% of the successful students, highlighting the continued academic excellence of girls in the region.

Statistical Highlights and Special Achievements

According to the statistical data released, the scientific and technical track recorded 22,421 successful candidates, achieving a success rate of 56.36%. In contrast, the literary and original disciplines boasted a higher success rate of 68.30%, with a total of 9,572 students succeeding in this category. The Fes-Meknes region also saw its highest overall score of 19.34 out of 20, achieved by a candidate in the French option of the Physical Sciences track, underscoring the academic prowess displayed by several high achievers during this session.

Furthermore, the results demonstrated positive outcomes for candidates with disabilities, with 244 individuals participating in the examination, of which 178 were successful, yielding a success rate of 72.95%, surpassing the general averages recorded in many disciplines. In terms of merit and distinction, 16,012 candidates achieved honors, accounting for nearly half of all successful candidates at a rate of 49.96%. This included 2,137 students receiving the distinction of "Very Good," and 4,497 achieving "Good," while 9,378 candidates were awarded "Satisfactory."

As for the free candidates, 2,604 successfully passed the examination, including 169 inmates from correctional facilities, achieving a success rate of 29.72%. Meanwhile, 25,095 candidates are preparing to take the resit examinations, including 19,893 students and 5,202 free candidates, all aspiring to obtain their Baccalaureate diploma in the second round of testing.
