Fes-Meknes Region Gears Up for the Sixth Economic Forum

Fes-Meknes Region to Host the Sixth Economic Forum

On June 24, 2026, the Fes-Meknes region of Morocco is set to host the sixth edition of its Economic Forum, a significant event aimed at enhancing investment initiatives and economic cooperation within the region. This year's forum will bring together numerous institutional and economic stakeholders, along with experts from Morocco and beyond, to discuss critical issues surrounding development and investment. The forum represents a vital opportunity for participants to explore the region's evolving role as a hub for investment.

International Events and Empowerment Initiatives

This year's forum will coincide with two major international events: the 50th General Assembly of the African and Francophone Chambers Network and the sixth General Assembly of the Pan-African Chambers. These concurrent gatherings highlight the growing significance of the Fes-Meknes region within both African and international professional economic networks. The forum's agenda will also feature the general assembly of the "Fes-Meknes International" Association, which aims to strengthen ties with Moroccan expatriates from the region, encouraging their participation in local economic development and investment initiatives.

Additionally, the forum will host a special meeting dedicated to female entrepreneurs, showcasing successful women's experiences in the business world and promoting female-led economic initiatives. The third edition of the "Employment Day" will also take place, in partnership with the National Agency for the Promotion of Employment and Skills, aimed at facilitating job integration opportunities and enhancing the employability of youth.

In a move to support local entrepreneurship, the forum will recognize eight companies from the Fes-Meknes region for their contributions to value creation and job creation. This initiative seeks to encourage successful businesses and foster a spirit of entrepreneurship and investment.

The organizers of the forum have urged business leaders, investors, and company executives to participate in the various activities by registering on the event's digital platform. Attendees can expect a rich program filled with discussions and meetings that will address pressing topics related to the economy, investment, entrepreneurship, and regional development, with contributions from both local and international experts.
