Fes University Unveils ELOGHA-SUP Language Learning Platform
In a significant move towards enhancing language proficiency among students, Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University in Fes has officially inaugurated the national language learning platform, ELOGHA-SUP. This platform marks a notable achievement as it is the first fully Moroccan initiative, developed by national experts, aimed at serving as a foundational tool for academic and professional success. The ELOGHA-SUP platform is designed to facilitate the mastery of five languages: Arabic, French, English, Spanish, and Amazigh, across seven levels of learning and instruction. The carefully structured content allows for a progressive development of language skills, ensuring that each student can advance at their own pace.
According to information from Hespress, the platform, operational since March 9, 2026, offers a comprehensive and inclusive educational experience. It enables learners to practice and enhance their skills according to their individual academic needs and career aspirations in the job market. ELOGHA-SUP boasts over 2,000 educational resources, including open educational courses (MOOCs), interactive pedagogical scenarios, explanatory video capsules, and a wide array of modern educational support materials.
With more than 900,000 enrolled students, ELOGHA-SUP has emerged as the unified educational hub for learners from various Moroccan universities, establishing itself as the largest digital language learning community in the country. The initiative aligns with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation, which has rolled out the platform following the royal guidance to empower Moroccan youth with essential national and foreign language skills, fostering equal opportunities and integration.
This project is also part of the national plan to accelerate the transformation of the higher education and research system (PACTE ESRI 2030), emphasizing educational reform through the adoption of modern learning methods. ELOGHA-SUP ensures digital inclusion by providing remote educational resources available around the clock, relying on a platform fully developed by a multidisciplinary Moroccan team.
