The organizers of the Festival Jidar-Rabat Street Art have announced that applications are now open for the "Collective Mural" project as part of its 11th edition, scheduled to take place from April 16 to April 27, 2026. This initiative aims to serve as a nurturing ground for emerging talents, providing a unique platform for aspiring artists, art students, and urban culture enthusiasts to express their creativity and collaborate.
From April 20 to April 26, twelve selected candidates will have the opportunity to create a monumental artwork within a supportive environment that emphasizes sharing and technical exploration. This year's edition will feature renowned artist "Bakr" as the mentor, whose blend of classical techniques from Fès and academic training from the Fine Arts of Casablanca presents an inspiring model for the new generation of artists, merging rich heritage with the raw energy of street art.
Participating in this artistic venture offers emerging talents invaluable professional guidance and the chance to collaborate with fellow young artists from across Morocco, potentially leading to inclusion in the festival's official programming. Interested individuals are encouraged to submit their applications online, which must include a filled registration form and a portfolio, by the deadline of midnight on April 5.
