FMSC Marks Mauritius' Debut at the World Corporate Games

FMSC Makes History with Mauritius' First Participation in World Corporate Games

The Mauritius Federation of Corporate Sports (FMSC) has officially announced the island nation's inaugural participation in the highly anticipated World Corporate Games, scheduled to take place from June 5 to June 7, 2026, in Casablanca, Morocco. This global event, organized in conjunction with the Association for the Development of Corporate Sports (ADCS), will also feature the Moroccan Corporate Sports Games (JMSE) for the first time, introducing a specific international ranking that adds a competitive edge to the event.

For this historic occasion, Mauritius will be represented by a delegation of 31 individuals, encompassing athletes, officials, and technical coaches from seven Mauritian companies, including Cargo Handling Corporation, IBL Engineering, PhoenixBev, Airports of Mauritius, Mauritius Duty Free Paradise, Bank One, and AfrAsia Bank. The athletes will compete in five distinct disciplines: running events covering distances of 5 km and 10 km, 5-a-side football, 4-a-side volleyball, darts, and e-sports featuring the video game FC 26. The participants earned their spots through qualifying tournaments organized by the FMSC earlier in 2026.

Beyond the pursuit of athletic achievements and medals, this participation in Casablanca holds significant strategic importance for the FMSC. It serves as a platform to promote team cohesion, personal growth, and leadership within various corporate settings. The president of the FMSC expressed immense pride in this pivotal step forward for the development of corporate sports both nationally and internationally. Furthermore, the FMSC aims to actively position Mauritius as a premier destination with the logistical expertise necessary to host future large-scale corporate sporting events.

Throughout the competition in Morocco, Mauritians will be able to follow the progress, schedule, and performances of the national delegation through the official digital platforms of the FMSC, ensuring that sports enthusiasts back home can engage with this momentous occasion.
