France Reveals Equestrian Team for CSIO 4*-W Rabat

In an exciting announcement by the French Equestrian Federation (FFE), the team of riders set to represent France at the upcoming CSIO 4*-W in Rabat from October 7 to 11, 2026, has been unveiled. This selection follows the strategic decisions made by Olivier Guillon, the assistant national coach for show jumping, alongside the federal sports management team. The chosen combinations of horse and rider, listed in alphabetical order, are as follows:

  • Cyril Bouvard riding Diva du Rozel
  • Olivier Perreau on Léopard des Joanins Z, owned by Stéphane Monier
  • Alix Ragot with Gueule d’Amours, owned by Muriel Breul - Group 2 FFE
  • Jeanne Sadran aboard Dexter de Kerglenn, owned by Chev’El - Group 2 FFE

Olivier Guillon expressed his enthusiasm for the Morocco Royal Tour, which is known for providing exceptional conditions for horses, riders, and grooms alike. "The CSIO 4*-W in Rabat is a highly prestigious competition, and it’s a pleasure to participate in such an event that promises to deliver thrilling sportsmanship," Guillon stated. He highlighted the capabilities of each selected rider, emphasizing Cyril Bouvard’s performance, which included a double clear in the Nations Cup in Avenches earlier this September. Guillon noted that Bouvard’s horse has significant potential, making Rabat a perfect opportunity for him to continue his success.

Moreover, the experienced Olivier Perreau will compete with Léopard des Joanins Z, a promising young horse making its debut in a Nations Cup. Guillon is optimistic about their future, particularly as they aim for the 5* level in competitions. Alix Ragot, a determined and competitive rider, has showcased his skills in previous Nations Cups in Lisbon and Sopot with Gueule d’Amours, and his selection for Rabat seems like a natural progression. Finally, Guillon expressed his confidence in Jeanne Sadran and her mount Dexter de Kerglenn, praising her youthful experience and her potential to be a key member of the team.
