French-Algerian Man Arrested in Marrakech for International Passport Forgery

On Thursday, April 30, law enforcement authorities in Marrakech apprehended a 35-year-old French national of Algerian descent who was residing in Morocco illegally. This individual was the subject of an international arrest warrant issued by the French judiciary.

According to a security source from assafir24.ma, the suspect was detained within the city limits after a verification of his identity revealed he was wanted under an Interpol Red Notice. This notice indicates his alleged involvement in a network operating in passport forgery and trafficking across borders.

The suspect is currently being processed for international extradition as per the directives of the relevant judicial authorities. Furthermore, the National Central Bureau of Interpol in Rabat has notified French authorities with the details regarding the arrest operation.
