Counterfeit Currency Incident in Marrakech
A French national of Moroccan descent was apprehended in the Marrakech region after attempting to pay for a meal using a counterfeit Euro bill. This incident unfolded at a restaurant located in the tourist area of Ourika, where the establishment's owner reported the suspicious transaction to the local authorities. The individual, dining with a companion of French nationality, used the counterfeit bill during lunch, prompting the restaurant owner to alert the police.
