New Flight Routes Connecting Germany to Morocco
The German airline Discover Airlines has announced the introduction of two new flight routes that will connect several German cities to Morocco, commencing at the end of October 2026, coinciding with the start of the winter flight season. As per the airline's announcement, one of the routes will feature direct flights between Frankfurt and Agadir, a popular tourist destination among European travelers, renowned for its beautiful beaches and mild climate. This makes Agadir a prime location that attracts visitors throughout various times of the year.
In addition to this, the airline will also initiate a new direct flight route linking Munich with the city of Fez. Discover Airlines will become the sole carrier providing direct flights between these two cities, which is expected to significantly enhance air connectivity between the two regions. The city of Fez is recognized for its rich historical and cultural significance in Morocco, illustrating European airlines' growing interest in cultural and tourist destinations within the kingdom.
The launch of these new flight routes is anticipated to bolster air travel links between Morocco and Germany, a key European tourism market for the North African nation. This development is likely to facilitate an influx of tourists to various Moroccan cities, particularly during the winter season. This expansion in flight offerings reflects a rising interest from international airlines in the Moroccan tourism market, stimulated by increasing demand for travel to the kingdom and improvements in tourism infrastructure.
