Guidelines for Moroccan Fans in Boston Ahead of the World Cup Quarterfinals

Essential Information for Moroccan Supporters in Boston

As the Moroccan national football team prepares to face France in the quarterfinals of the World Cup, Moroccan Ambassador to the United States, Youssef Al-Amrani, has issued important guidelines for fans traveling to Boston. In a recent announcement, Al-Amrani emphasized that local authorities recommend bringing flags and banners that do not exceed specific dimensions (less than 2m x 1.5m) and advised against carrying any flammable materials. This precautionary measure is intended to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attendees during the highly anticipated match.

Furthermore, the ambassador highlighted the convenience of utilizing train services, which will operate until 2 AM on the day of the match. He noted that trains will depart approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the game, making it easier for fans to return after the excitement. In addition to train services, the Bus Express will also be available for fans during this event.

To avoid congestion before and after the match, Al-Amrani urged fans to arrive early at Gillette Stadium, located about an hour and a half from downtown Boston. He specifically warned against random parking and encouraged the use of designated parking lots to facilitate smooth transit. Concluding his message, the Moroccan ambassador extended his best wishes to the national team, expressing confidence in their performance: "Good luck to our national team, and always go Morocco!"
