Hassan Kouhen Returns to Moroccan Art Scene with New Exhibition
The Moroccan-American painter Hassan Kouhen has made a significant return to the Moroccan art scene with a new exhibition held at the "Rivages" space, located within the Hassan II Foundation for Moroccans Residing Abroad in Rabat. The opening of this exhibition took place on Thursday evening, attended by numerous artists and cultural professionals, marking a vibrant gathering of creative minds.
This exhibition, which will be open to the public until October 6, features nearly 40 paintings, showcasing Kouhen’s evolving artistry and the maturity he has developed over the years. Notably, this event represents Kouhen’s return to the "Rivages" space six years after his first exhibition there in 2020, allowing audiences to witness the transformations in his artistic universe and appreciate his latest creations.
An Artistic Journey Inspired by Travel and Experience
Kouhen has expressed that this new phase of his career is deeply intertwined with the experiences that have shaped his artistic identity. His travels and the diverse cultures he has encountered throughout his life serve as rich sources of inspiration, contributing to the evolution of his style.
