A significant heat wave is anticipated to sweep across several regions of Morocco from Tuesday to Friday, with temperatures ranging between 42 and 45 degrees Celsius. The General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) has issued an orange alert bulletin, highlighting the provinces most likely to experience these extreme temperatures, which include Aousserd, Oued Ed-Dahab, Boujdour, Assa-Zag, Es-Semara, Tata, and Zagora.
Moreover, a similar weather pattern is expected to affect other regions from Wednesday through Friday, with temperatures forecasted to range from 38 to 42 degrees Celsius. The provinces that may face these elevated temperatures include Marrakech, Rehamna, Sidi Bennour, Youssoufia, Béni Mellal, Taroudant, Kénitra, Sidi Kacem, Sidi Slimane, Khouribga, Settat, El Kelaâ des Sraghna, Khémisset, Fquih Ben Salah, Meknès, Khénifra, Fès, Moulay Yacoub, and Taounate.
