Weather Forecast and Safety Measures
The DGM's updated alert indicates that the weather will be hot, with intense thunderstorms predicted in several regions of Morocco. The advisory has been classified as an "orange" level alert, forecasting temperatures ranging from 40 to 44 °C in several prefectures and provinces, including Taounate, Fès, Fquih Ben Salah, Béni Mellal, Sidi Kacem, Youssoufia, Kénitra, and others. Furthermore, temperatures between 36 and 40 °C are expected in areas such as Tarfaya, Nouaceur, Rabat, Salé, and others. Additionally, heavy thunderstorms with the potential for hail and wind gusts are anticipated in provinces like Tarfaya, Assa-Zag, Midelt, and Boulemane, where rainfall could accumulate up to 30 mm. Travelers are strongly advised to prepare for these conditions and take necessary precautions for their safety.
