Recent meteorological disturbances have led to a significant rise in water levels across three rivers in the Ait Imour leadership area. This surge in water levels has prompted local authorities to take proactive measures to ensure the safety of residents and road users during this challenging weather situation.

The affected rivers include the Wadi Wierman near the Ait Ali Moussa village, the Wadi Tamimount near the Ait Othman Ihssain village, and the Wadi Klemim at the Ait Bouho village. As of the latest reports, the water level has reached approximately one meter, but fortunately, no damages have been recorded thus far.

In light of these developments, traffic has been disrupted on regional road number 212, connecting the Akfay and Ait Imour municipalities, due to the adverse weather conditions and the rising water levels. Local authorities have coordinated with the Royal Gendarmerie in Akfay and relevant municipal services to implement various necessary arrangements and precautions.

Additionally, residents of nearby villages have been alerted to exercise caution and remain vigilant to mitigate any potential risks. Currently, the situation remains stable with no reported losses, and precautionary measures continue to be enforced to monitor the evolving weather conditions and ensure the safety of the public.
