Resumption of Services to Key Destinations
On September 2, Hongkong Post announced the resumption of Speedpost and air parcel services to several destinations in the Middle East and other regions, effective from September 3. This decision comes as air freight capacity gradually increases and with the assistance of other postal administrations facilitating transit. The specific destinations included in this service resumption are Armenia, Egypt, Kenya, Maldives, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates for Speedpost services. For air parcel services, the destinations expand to include Belarus, Ecuador, Equatorial Guinea, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Morocco, Namibia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uruguay, in addition to those listed for Speedpost.
It is important to note that mail items destined for these locations may require additional transit time, as they will be processed through other postal networks before reaching their final destination.
