ICAO-GISS 2026 Kicks Off in Marrakech
The fifth edition of the Global Implementation Support Symposium (ICAO-GISS 2026) commenced on April 14, 2026, in Marrakech, marking a significant event in the realm of civil aviation. This symposium, organized collaboratively by the Moroccan Ministry of Transport and Logistics and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), is themed "Regional Solutions, Global Benefits." The international agenda includes seven thematic panels focusing on various critical topics such as leveraging air connectivity for economic growth, social cohesion, and regional integration; air safety; civil aviation financing; challenges in airport infrastructure; and talent development to prepare the future workforce for global aviation.
