The Association Atelier Ayouz for Culture and Arts is thrilled to announce the upcoming 4th edition of the IMINIG Festival, which is set to take place from August 8 to August 11, 2026, in Agadir. This year's theme, "A Century of Migration," is a tribute to a hundred years of Moroccan migration history, spotlighting a human journey that has significantly shaped the contemporary narrative of the Kingdom. From the initial departures of Moroccans to Europe in the 1920s to the new generations now established across the globe, migration has evolved into a critical lever for economic, social, and cultural development, while also enhancing Morocco's international stature.

Through this fourth edition, the IMINIG Festival aspires to transcend the boundaries of a mere artistic gathering. It aims to serve as a platform for dialogue, memory, and reflection dedicated to migration narratives, plural identities, and the connections that unite Moroccans worldwide to their homeland.

A Rich Program of Culture, Memory, and Reflection

The festival will unfold across several iconic venues in Agadir, including Place Tamri (Talborjt), the Aït Souss Promenade, Cinema Sahara, the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services of the Souss-Massa region, and the Olhao Garden. The program promises an array of activities, including:

  • Concerts and musical performances featuring Moroccan artists from both the Kingdom and the diaspora.
