Upcoming Temporary Adjustments to Train Services

In light of the ongoing construction works for the Kénitra-Marrakech High-Speed Line and parallel interventions on conventional rail lines, the National Office of Railways (ONCF) informs travelers of impending temporary modifications to train operations in the coming weeks. These necessary adjustments are being implemented to accommodate the increased pace of construction while ensuring optimal safety conditions and maintaining service continuity as much as possible.

The adaptations will occur in two phases. The first phase is scheduled for September 5 and 6, 2026. During this period, from Saturday, September 5 at 11:00 PM to Sunday, September 6 at 11:00 PM, scheduled works will lead to alterations in rail traffic across several routes. To facilitate continuous travel for affected passengers, ONCF will implement alternative solutions and connection arrangements.

Specifically, for the El Jadida TNR, train services will be curtailed to Bouskoura, with connections available to Al Atlas trains. For the Settat TNR, services will be temporarily suspended, directing travelers to Al Atlas trains instead. Additionally, the rail service for the Airport TNR will also be temporarily halted, replaced by Supratours shuttle buses. The direct train service between Safi and Casablanca will be suspended as well, while trains from Khouribga will be limited to Berrechid, with connections to Al Atlas trains.

Moreover, delays and adjustments to travel times are expected for Al Atlas trains during this period. To ensure that travelers receive timely information and support, ONCF will enhance its communication and assistance mechanisms, guiding passengers effectively in their journeys.

Further Phases and Continuous Improvements

The second phase of adjustments will begin on September 14, 2026. Following the initial phase that commenced on September 15, 2025, the Kénitra-Marrakech High-Speed Line works will transition into a new stage. This next phase will entail the implementation of a revised transport plan designed to accommodate the constraints of the construction while ensuring service continuity and minimizing impact on passenger travel as much as possible.

This new plan will include adaptations to certain services, schedule modifications, route limitations, and the gradual closure of specific stations, including Facultés Station and Ennassim Station. To help travelers plan their journeys effectively, ONCF will release detailed information regarding these adaptations and their impacts on various routes starting from the week of September 7, 2026.

Additionally, information and support systems will be available at train stations, on board trains, and through ONCF's digital channels to ensure clear and up-to-date communication. ONCF expresses its gratitude to travelers for their understanding and cooperation during this construction period, which is progressing steadily in accordance with the established timetable.

These construction efforts are integral to the modernization, development, and transformation of the national railway network, aimed at fostering a more efficient, sustainable, and adaptable mobility solution for the future.

For additional information, travelers are encouraged to check their train schedules before any journey through ONCF's official channels: the commercial website www.oncf-voyages.ma, the ONCF Voyages mobile app, the Customer Relations Center at 2255 (local communication cost), and the M’ONCF Chatbot at 06 67 65 22 55.
