To date, 43 agreements have been signed under this program, with a total budget for works amounting to 1.654 billion dirhams. These funds are primarily allocated for the development of public spaces, road infrastructure, and local areas.
Among these initiatives is a significant project aimed at developing five neighborhoods in Agadir, with a dedicated budget of 731 million dirhams, including a ministerial contribution of 585 million dirhams. This initiative encompasses the creation and improvement of 201 kilometers of roadways, directly benefiting 8,474 housing units, equivalent to approximately 42,390 residents. The positive impact extends to over 28,374 units in other urban areas, enhancing the overall urban landscape.
Beyond being a commercial exhibition, Sakankom serves as a space for institutional dialogue. The event follows the success of other regional initiatives, such as the International Forum on Industry and Services and the Agri-Water Forum, further establishing Agadir as a center for discussions on pressing issues related to water and agriculture.
