Strengthening Morocco-France Relations at the 15th High-Level Meeting
On Thursday, July 16, 2026, the 15th session of the High-Level Meeting (RAN) between Morocco and France was officially inaugurated in Rabat. This significant event was co-chaired by Aziz Akhannouch, the Head of the Moroccan Government, and Sébastien Lecornu, the French Prime Minister. The primary purpose of this meeting is to reinforce the Enhanced Exceptional Partnership that binds Morocco and France, under the esteemed leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and French President Emmanuel Macron.
Prior to this crucial assembly, bilateral discussions took place among government members from both nations, setting the stage for an agenda that promises to invigorate Moroccan-French relations. This meeting is particularly noteworthy as it will witness the signing of several agreements aimed at providing a fresh impetus to the collaboration between the two countries.
The Moroccan delegation at the meeting includes key figures such as Abdelouafi Laftit, Minister of Interior; Nadia Fettah, Minister of Economy and Finance; Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Industry and Commerce; Mohamed Saad Berrada, Minister of National Education, Preschool Education, and Sports; and Ahmed El Bouari, Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development, and Water and Forests.
