Industrial Transformation Africa: A Major Event Set to Transform Manufacturing in Casablanca

Over 5,000 Industry Leaders Expected at Industrial Transformation Africa 2026

The inaugural edition of Industrial Transformation Africa (ITAF) is poised to take place in Casablanca from September 29 to October 1, 2026, attracting more than 5,000 industrial decision-makers. This landmark event will focus on critical themes such as industrial artificial intelligence, robotics, automation, energy, and logistics, uniting industrialists, technology providers, and investors around the evolving landscape of production systems in Africa. Morocco is proudly hosting this first edition, serving as a pivotal hub for industrial actors and international partners.

At a press conference held recently, the organizers unveiled plans for the event, which will cover an expansive 2,500 square meters dedicated to industrial technologies. ITAF will feature an exhibition, networking spaces for industry stakeholders, and training programs centered on Industry 4.0 technologies. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between solution providers, investors, and industrial players, fostering collaboration and innovation within the sector.

Strategic Positioning and Vision for ITAF

In collaboration with Deutsche Messe AG, the project highlights technologies deemed essential for production systems, including industrial artificial intelligence, robotics, and automation, along with energy and logistics systems. Casablanca is positioned as a strategic anchor point, situated at the crossroads of Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, and is home to already established industrial ecosystems in sectors such as automotive, aeronautics, electronics, and energy. The city is characterized as a concentration zone for economic actors, facilitating interactions, investments, and industrial partnerships.

During the conference, the CEO of the organization representing German businesses in Morocco emphasized that the announcement of ITAF is not merely the launch of a new trade show; rather, it is the culmination of a vision developed over many years alongside numerous partners. She underscored that ITAF is the result of years of commitment and collaboration, aimed at structuring an industrial ecosystem that brings together investors, industrialists, and innovators.

Furthermore, the project development manager in the MENA region articulated its operational positioning, stating that ITAF is more than just an event; it represents the launch of a network connecting Europe, South America, and Africa. The goal is to create a sustainable framework for long-lasting partnerships, technological transfers, and robust business relationships, while highlighting Africa's current industrial reality as a rapidly accelerating landscape.

Scheduled for September 29 to October 1, 2026, in Casablanca, ITAF aligns with its organizers' vision of structuring industrial exchanges across Africa. This first edition calls upon industrialists, investors, and institutions to participate actively in this transformative journey.
