The Super Falcons, Nigeria's national women's football team, have officially alerted Moroccan authorities regarding the disappearance of money from their hotel rooms in Casablanca. The incident came to light following social media posts by Esther Okoronkwo, a forward on the team, who initially reported the loss of $500 from her wallet, only to later increase her estimate of the missing amount to $700.
Okoronkwo has accused cleaning staff at the Marriott hotel in Casablanca of taking the money during the players' absence. However, as of now, these allegations have not been substantiated by the ongoing investigation.
